The Palestine Solidarity Association of Sweden (PGS) has received the news about the death of Dr. Haidar Abdel Shafi. We as members of PGS who knew him both in the political struggle as well as a personal friend send our deepest condolences to Dr. Haidar’s family.

We knew him for many years and admired his courage, integrity and profound knowledge.
