Adidas gave two silhouettes from its popular Ultraboost performance running line a colorful update.
The German sportswear giant have released the Ultraboost 4.0 DNA and Ultraboost 21 running shoes in a new tie-dye colorway that are available exclusively in women’s sizing. Both of the styles feature an eye-catching color scheme on their Primeblue uppers, which is constructed with a high-performance recycled material that was intercepted in the waterways by Parley for the Oceans. Both models also come with a translucent lacing cage on the sides along with an “Ultraboost” branded heel counter and white shoelaces.
Where two pairs differ is in the tooling. The Ultraboost 4.0 DNA features a standard full-length Boost midsole used on various other Ultraboost silhouettes, and the Ultraboost 21 silhouette has 6% more Boost capsules in the midsole to provide additional energy return in each step. Rounding out the look for both shoes are durable white Continental rubber outsoles.
Both the tie-dye colorways of the Adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 DNA and Ultraboost 21 shoes are available now at Adidas.com and at select Adidas retailers for $180 each. At the time of publication, both shoes are available on the brand’s website in women’s sizes ranging from 5-11.
