Birkenstock has teamed up with Staud once again.

For the duo’s third installment of their partnership, Staud updates Birkenstock’s signature Arizona sandal in a woven embossed version of the classic style for summer.

The new Arizona Woven Embossed Sandal is crafted in woven embossed leather upper with a subtle sheen, available in two colorways – ecru and black. The sandal is accented with a tonal matte buckle, while the contoured cork footbed is wrapped in premium leather. The sandals are offered in sizes 36 through 43.

The new Birkenstock + Staud Arizona Woven Embossed Sandal, which retails for $170, is now available at Staud stores, select Birkenstock stores, and online at staud.clothing and Birkenstock.com.

Staud, no stranger to teaming up with other brands, has had numerous partnerships with companies and organizations over the years, including New Balance, Keds, Wrangler and even the NFL. Similarly, Birkenstock has collaborated with designer brands like Manolo Blahnik, Rick Owens and ‎Proenza Schouler.

For spring 2024, the duo’s drop includes the Birkenstock Gizeh and Arizona Big Buckle sandals, as well as Stuad’s reimagined Moon and Alec shoulder bags.

The new collection also comes at a time when Birkenstock continues to increase its global retail footprint with a slate of several new openings around the world. Most recently, the German footwear brand opened the doors to its latest American outpost in Nashville, Tenn. Located at 2212 12th Avenue South, the company’s new Nashville store marks the tenth Birkenstock-owned retail location in the U.S.

Along with Birkenstock’s Nashville opening, the company has been busy building its international presence as well. In March, the company opened its fourth London store. Staying in Europe, this year also saw the opening of Birkenstock’s second store in Paris, its first store in the Netherlands in Amsterdam, and converted its Cologne, Germany pop-up into a permanent retail location.

Over in Asia, the company opened a special year-long pop-up shop in Kyoto, Japan on the iconic Shijo Street within a traditional Machiya townhouse, as well as transformed its Shanghai, China pop-up into a permanent space.

These openings come after Birkenstock started off the year strong following a successful holiday season. In February, the company reported that revenue in the first quarter of fiscal 2025 increased 19 percent to 362 million euros, up from 303 million euros the same time last year.
