Sorel has collaborated on a limited-edition fall boot with singer and actress Chloe Bailey, which will be available on the brand’s first pop-up store in Brooklyn, New York.
To celebrate the brand’s heritage, the footwear brand has announced it will be hosting its first-ever pop-up shop in Brooklyn on Friday. The brand plans to use this pop-up shop to represent a connection between past and future consumers. To highlight their efforts, Sorel has collaborated with Chloe Bailey on a limited-edition fall boot style.
The ankle boots feature a black leather upper accompanied by a rounded toe and a lace-up closure. The limited-edition set pays homage to Bailey’s music career with a gold “Make It Look Easy” tag and a microphone charm that matches the gold eyelets. The sleek pair brings height to any look with a white rubber platform sole. The boots will be sold exclusively at the pop-up shop for $200.
Along with representing renewed energy, Sorel will also be hosting the event to honor 50 years of the brand’s iconic Caribou boot. Including Bailey’s style, the pop-up shop will feature a small line of key pieces from the brand’s fall 2023 collection including the Caribou Royal, Caribou X Boot Lace and ONA III Classic. Each style will be available in the signature Optimized Orange colorway, which will be carried out through pop-up space.
On top of trying pieces from the new collection, visitors can also entertain themselves with a custom augmented reality experience and an onsite charm and lace bar where they can try on and customize their favorite styles.
Sorel’s VP of Global Brand Marketing, Natalie Hayes, said this moment highlights a big milestone for the brand. “It represents over 50 years of industry-leading experience in footwear,” she shared, “showcasing how Sorel heritage styles – like the Caribou – are truly timeless.”
The Sorel Brooklyn pop-up shop will open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST starting on Oct. 13 until Oct. 22.
