Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Loewe, shared a glimpse at the brand’s newest shoe style ahead of its spring 2024 runway show.

On Tuesday, Anderson took to Instagram Reels to spotlight a new clog that will be part of the Spanish luxury brand’s forthcoming collection. From the clip, the style appeared to feature rounded uppers crafted from brushed suede, complete with closed counters and buckled front straps. The shoes — seen in tonal beige, warm brown and black colorways — also included thin swirling rubber accents reminiscent of the brand’s insignia logo along their sides, hinting at matching textured soles.

“Fittings @loewe. new shoessssssss,” Anderson playfully captioned the clip, along with a heart-eyed smiley face emoji.

The shoe style is the latest to be teased by Anderson in advance of one of his upcoming fashion shows. In January, the fashion designer also teased a set of viral frog-shaped mules — revealed to be a collaboration between rain boot brand Wellipets and his namesake J.W. Anderson label — before J.W. Anderson’s fall 2023 runway show during Milan Fashion Week.

Outside of their preview on social media, the clogs will likely make their official debut on the runway during Loewe’s spring 2024 fashion show, which will be held on Sept. 29 during Paris Fashion Week.

In other Loewe news, Anderson has also released the Spanish brand’s fall 2023 collection online, which features an array of whimsical shoes ranging from faux fur-covered men’s boots to velvet pumps topped with supersized bows. The designer has also experimented with a variety of projects this year, including the role of costume designer for Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming sports drama “Challengers” — starring Zendaya, Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor — which is currently set for a 2024 release.
