Saucony Releases Updated Triumph 4 Sneaker With Nordstrom
Saucony has released an exclusive sneaker with Nordstrom.
According to the Wolverine Worldwide-owned brand, it has updated its iconic ProGrid Triumph 4 SMU sneaker exclusively for the retailer.
Originally launched in spring/summer 2007, the ProGrid Triumph 4 introduced Saucony’s first-ever full-length ProGrid technology.
Now, this new iteration – designed by New York creator Alex Dymond – brings together the original performance materials of the Triumph 4 with a fresh take on texture featuring elements like classic hairy suede and reflective accents.
The launch comes a month after Saucony released a new global brand campaign. Dubbed “Run as One,” the multifaceted effort is led by a 30-second video, which Saucony explained aims to show “the magic that happens when people come together,” which unlocks “a powerful sense of connection and shared purpose.” The brand further stated that the “Run as One” video “reinforces the idea that when we run together, we achieve more than we ever could alone.”

“When we think about ‘Run as One,’ we wanted to make sure we elevated our ethos, that we know that running is more than a sport. It’s a culture connector,” Saucony global chief marketing officer Joy Allen-Altimare told FN at the time. “We know that you may run, but it’s not the only thing that you do, and we know that you’re looking for community and connection. We wanted to reflect that in what we put in the universe.”
The video featured long-distance runner Vanessa Fraser and the brand’s award-winning collaborator Jae Tips.
The Nordstrom x Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 SMU sneaker, which retails for $170, is now available at select Nordstrom stores and on Saucony.com and Nordstrom.com.
