Nike’s ReactX Rejuven8 recovery slip-on has been available at retail for less than a month, but it’s already making a case as one of the most popular new shoes of the year.
After being worn by LeBron James during the Paris 2024 Olympics in August, the Nike ReactX Rejuven8 finally arrived in stores this month — that is, if you can find a pair.
From the drab, earth tone colors like “Light Orewood Brown” and “Smoke Gray” to attention-grabbing fluorescent looks in “Green Strike” and “Team Orange,” Nike’s challenge with the ReactX Rejuven8 thus far has been keeping the shoes in stock. Each styles sells out in most sizes nearly as soon as it’s stocked and had limited availability from big-box retailers.
Retailing at $70, the Nike ReactX Rejuven8 is priced in line with other popular recovery footwear from brands such as Hoka and Oofos.
Fully constructed with Nike’s soft ReactX foam, the ReactX Rejuven8 is also equipped with a sticky rubber outsole for traction. The forefoot is designed with extra room for those with wider feet, and ventilation holes in the front add breathability. Nike touts it as “a recovery shoe so comfortable you’ll want to wear it every day,” and the shoe’s current popularity lends credence to the claim.
Beyond the colorways released already, readers can expect to see plenty more of the ReactX Rejuven8 throughout the warmer months as Nike has dozens of men’s and women’s colorways in the pipeline.
Select sizes and colors of the Nike ReactX Rejuven8 are available now from nike.com for $70, but don’t expect them to last long.
