Here’s How You Can Get the ‘Galaxy’ Foamposites Early With the Snkrs App’s ‘Exclusive Access’
Later this month, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” will release as a revival of one of the most hyped sneakers ever made. But before the normal launch process begins, you’ve got a chance to buy a pair early through the Snkrs app’s “Exclusive Access” Program.
Invitations for an early drawing for the “Galaxy” Foams will go out Friday to select Snkrs users. To be eligible, you’ll have had to have entered drawings for three or more Air Foamposite Ones since March 2023. Should you qualify, you’ll receive an invitation to join the “Galaxy” drawing open for ten minutes at an unspecified time Friday.
The rollout is different than the usual “Exclusive Access” launch on the Snkrs app, when users who meet certain criteria are usually given the direct opportunity to purchase rather than entering a more exclusive lottery. But this also isn’t the usual sneaker, as the “Galaxy Foams” had such a buzz the first time around a Craigslist poster offered to trade his car for a pair.

Named for the print on its molded upper, the Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” originally released in 2012 and counts a riot in Orlando as part of its lore. Kevin Durant’s KD 4 also released with a “Galaxy” theme at the same time for that year’s NBA All-Star Weekend, but it’s the Foamposite the rose above to become one of the defining sneakers of modern sneaker collecting.
Leaks originally had the sneaker releasing in Summer 2024, and the wait for the later February 2024 release date only created more hype for its return.
Should “Exclusive Access” not work out for you Friday, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” will get its wider release February 21 through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $210.
