Kith Will Collaborate on Adidas’ Futuristic 3D-Printed Slip-On
After dropping a massive soccer capsule with Adidas in April, Kith is now turning its attention to the brand’s new 3D-printed slip-on.
The Kith x Adidas ClimaCool has been revealed by Jonathan Crandell, director of Kith Toronto. Kith’s intervention on the futuristic slip-on is minimal, rendering the stripes in a gradient series of greys, but the mere existence of it suggests we’ll be seeing a lot more of the ClimaCool in the near future.
Adidas first introduced the ClimaCool last fall in limited numbers before giving the shoe a wider release last month. Named for the brand’s breathable technology from the early 2000s, the slip-on is entirely 3D-printed and features a latticed upper designed to mold to the foot and provide 360 degrees of air flow.

Until now, Adidas’ 3D printing efforts were typically limited to midsoles sitting beneath more conventional uppers under the 4D line.
3D-printing specialist Carbon was heavily involved in developing the latest iteration of ClimaCool, and James Sauerbaum, its head of Applications Strategy, said in a previous release: “This shoe embodies the future of athletic innovation, where form meets unmatched functionality. With the integration of advanced lattice structures throughout the entire shoe, the ClimaCool offers optimized cushioning, energy return, and breathability—all crafted in a single piece. It’s not just a shoe; it’s a reimagined athletic experience, powered by Carbon and backed by adidas’ commitment to pushing boundaries. Here’s to pushing limits, enhancing comfort, and changing the game.”
A release date hasn’t been confirmed for the Kith x Adidas ClimaCool, but it will likely to be released soon after being shown in an official capacity. Look for Kith to be the exclusive stockist and an expected price of $140.
