Soccer Legend José Mourinho Models Adidas x JJJJound Sambas in New Campaign
Adidas and JJJJound have launched a new campaign starring Portuguese soccer legend José Mourinho.
Campaign imagery shows Mourinho modeling a sleek black tracksuit and Sambas from the second collaboration between the German sportswear giant and Montreal-based design studio. A press release reads, “The José campaign is an ode to Samba’s time-honored legacy in sport and culture.”
JJJJound’s latest take on the iconic Samba silhouette features a tonal brown colorway with hairy suede uppers. While the majority of the shoe’s upper is crafted in a lighter brown suede, a warm chestnut brown hue is used for the Three Stripes and laces. JJJJound branding in gold debossing where the “Samba” logo usually appears above the Three Stripes completes the style.
In the campaign, Mourinho also models a sleek, all-black tracksuit from the collection paired with a crisp white button-down shirt. Other pieces slated to drop on June 27 include a bright white jersey, a black airliner bag, and a co-branded football and bag set.

The new collection follows the success of the JJJJound x Adidas Samba Made in Germany collaboration in March. Known for its minimalist approach, JJJJound’s first Samba release delivered classic white and black colorways.
José Mourinho is a former football player and one the most decorated professional soccer managers of his generation. He is best known for winning league titles in the four countries he’s coached, Portugal, England, Italy and Spain.
The second collection from the Adidas Originals by JJJJound partnership will be available to shop on the Confirmed app, as well as via select retailers and on jjjjound.com.
