Dior has pulled the curtain on its latest sneaker, the B35 NXXT, a voluminous modern style presented as part of the brand’s summer 2025 collection.
Fusing heritage and innovation, the French luxury brand says that the shoe communicates “the contemporary essence of the house.” The chunky openwork sole showcases the Dior Cannage motif, and mesh is featured along the upper. While the sole is voluminous, it is also designed to be lightweight.
Graphic curves and the “Dior” signature, created with the utilization of a high-frequency process, are incorporated in the design as well. “47” is emblazoned on the toe of the sneakers, in a nod to the date Feb. 12, 1947, when Christian Dior presented his first fashion show. Additionally, Dior B35 patches are featured on the tongue and heel counter of the shoe.
The sneaker comes in multiple colorways ranging from black to white to options with vibrant pops of color. Interpretations in beige and brown raffia are also available. The B35 NXXT sneaker is marked a price point of $1,300.
In the realm of Dior sneakers, the label’s 2024 exclusive collection with Lewis Hamilton included the B44 Blade sneaker, a $1,400 2000s-inspired style with limited quantities of each colorway created. Another sneaker released by the French label in 2024 was the Dior Chrono.
It was announced in July 2024 that Thibo Denis stepped down as men’s footwear designer at Dior, having spent six years in the position. Working with Kim Jones, who revealed his resignation as men’s artistic director at Dior in January, Denis was responsible for a myriad of noteworthy footwear creations, including the sought-after Dior x Jordan 1 Retro High.
