Just over a month after a teaser image was shown during Adidas‘ earning call, Anthony Edwards‘ next signature sneaker has gotten its best leak yet.
The Adidas Anthony Edwards 2 can be seen with a full 360-degree view through an in-hand video posted by a Chicago-based sneaker restorer known as @dre_the_shoegod. A full look at the sneaker reveals that the TPU overlay forming an arrow at the forefoot also swoops back up at the heel in a horn-like formation.
This black, purple and pink colorway also features more complex color-blocking than the “With Love”-like edition previously seen. Pink forms the vamp and branding, while purple is used for the interior of forefoot overlay. The overlay itself then makes use of a iridescent rubber that extends to the outsole.

Anticipation is high for the Anthony Edwards 2, as the young star’s first sneaker has been the buzziest performance basketball in quite some time. It’s already been nearly a year and a half since the Anthony Edwards 1 touched down, initially named the AE 1, which is already longer than usual for a signature franchise.
A dynamic overlay sitting above a snug base marks not only a through-line for Edwards’ two models but also Adidas Basketball‘s full lineup of signature sneakers, the most prominent of which have have been the Harden Vol. 8 and Harden Vol. 9. Internally, Adidas is calling its uniting philosophy “radical simplicity,” as revealed to Footwear News earlier this year by lead Harden designer Jalal Enayah.
Further details on the Adidas Anthony Edwards 2 are still to come, but the sneaker is expected to release before the end of 2025. FN will keep you abreast of any updates.
