A Ma Maniére’s Luxurious Nike Air Max 95 Collaboration Comes Out This Month

The fourth installment of A Ma Maniére’s ongoing “While You Were Sleeping” collaborations with Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse was officially announced today.
Following the launches of the six-sneaker collection’s Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 39 collaborations, the releases will transition to the Nike side of the group beginning with the upcoming Air Max 95. Like the Air Jordan 4, the Air Max 95 will be accompanied by apparel, this time in the form of a A Ma Maniére x Nike varsity jacket.
Detailed images of the A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Max 95 “While You Were Sleeping” reveal the sneaker’s premium materials in all their glory. Using a mix of “Dark Violet Ore/Burgundy Ash,” the earth tone look combines tumbled leather, smooth leather, nubuck and perforated nubuck for a luxe spin on the usually sporty retro sneaker. There’s none of the mesh or synthetic suede the Air Max 95 is known for — even the shoe’s signature lace-loop eyelets have been swapped for a more traditional lacing system.

A Ma Maniére branding is peppered throughout the Air Max 95, notably on the tongue and with a large “A” on the heel, but there are also more subtle references to The Whitaker Group-owned brand. “A Ma Maniére” is embroidered at the toe, while its repeating “A” monogram pattern can be seen on the outsole’s transparent window. Additionally, it appears that the pattern has been woven into the backside of the tongue. The sneakers will come with alternate lace options and housed in special packaging.
Meanwhile, the A Ma Maniére x Nike varsity jacket features a black body with white leather sleeves, co-branding throughout and “While You Were Sleeping” script on the right chest. The jacket is priced at $600.
The A Ma Maniére x Nike Air Max 95 “While You Were Sleeping” will be released Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. ET from a-ma-maniere.com for a retail price of $190. It will also be available from A Ma Maniére, Social Status and APB physical locations with draws taking place Oct. 24 from 1 pm to 6 pm local time.
