With NBA icon Kobe Bryant calling it quits at season’s end, Nike is releasing his latest signature shoe, the Kobe 11, in a number of colorways to feed his hungry fans. The latest iteration of the shoe, which drops next week, features arguably its cleanest color palette since its launch.
The Nike Kobe 11 “White Horse” arrives in stores Monday and will retail for $220.
The “White Horse” is predominantly white, with the upper primarily featuring the color, completed with a white midsole and outsole. The only contrast on the shoe comes from the multicolor Flyknit section on its upper mid foot and to vertical gold strips along the heels.
Nike revealed the Kobe 11, Bryant’s final on-court shoe with the brand, in December, which made its debut in the “Achilles Heel” iteration on Jan. 9. The low-cut shoe was designed by Eric Avar and features the brand’s latest iteration of its Flyknit technology. The last colorway of the shoe to hit stores was the “Eulogy” edition, which featured a hyper grape to black gradient on its upper, with hyper grape taking up the front and midfoot sections and black occupying the heel. The shoe arrived Feb. 27 and retailed for $200.
