A Look at Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo Through the Years

Jerry Lorenzo is an American fashion designer and the founder of the popular streetwear brand Fear of God. Since its launch in 2013, Lorenzo’s brand has garnered widespread attention from notable fashion figures including Virgil Abloh, Kanye West and Gucci’s Michele Alessandro, among others. Born to a professional basketball player, the young creative was born in Sacramento, Calif., but moved multiple times throughout his childhood. Lorenzo would go on to move to Los Angeles to obtain an MBA from Loyola Marymount. Despite having no formal training in fashion, Lorenzo started his clothing brand and self-funded the whole ordeal. His debut collection caught the attention of fellow creative Abloh, and the rest is history.
