Onitsuka Tiger is embracing the magic of the Aurora Borealis with its latest shoe launch this holiday season.
The Japanese brand has just released its new Aurora Pack — a duo of shimmering unisex sneakers — that bring a high-shine take to the label’s signature shoes. Its first $340 style brings a bold take to the signature low-top Mexico 66 sneaker, cast in holographic silver leather uppers with rounded toes.
The pair is complete with shiny silver metal eyelets, strung with white laces — though, for added sparkle, consumers can also swap these for their accompanying spare set of Swarovski crystal-coated silver laces. Holographic spray-covered rubber soles finish the style with a balanced base.
Within the line, Onitsuka Tiger has also revamped its Delecity sneakers. The $370 style includes round-toed paneled leather uppers, cast in the same shimmering holographic tone with thick, holographic-sprayed ridged rubber soles. Glittering crystal-covered laces complete the shoe with a whimsical finish.
Currently, both styles can be found at Onitsuka’s retail stores and website.
Previously, Onitsuka Tiger has grown its shoe repertoire in 2023 with variations on its hit sneaker styles. The label’s also increased its presence on the footwear market with collaborations — including video game “Street Fighter 6” — as well as celebrity style spottings on stars including Kaia Gerber, Rita Ora and Gabi and Niki DeMartino.
