Zaya Wade mixed vintage and punky style for Miu Miu‘s spring 2024 fashion show.
While taking in Miuccia Prada’s latest designs at the occasion during Paris Fashion Week, Wade stepped out in a pair of the brand’s $2,450 square-toed boots. The biker style featured brown leather uppers with knee-high shafts, completed by darker soles with 3-inch block heels.
However, Wade’s pair also gained a grungy edge from their silver metal detailing, which included multiple side buckles and strap-trimmed harnesses.
The footwear took center stage within Wade’s outfit, which was curated by the Wade family’s stylist, Thomas Christos Kikis. Her Miu Miu ensemble prominently featured a fuzzy, golden yellow faux fur coat atop a light gray minidress with white dress shirt detailing. A smooth, pale tan padded leather iteration of the brand’s $3,000 top-handled handbag completed Wade’s attire with a sophisticated, ladylike finish.
Wade, a new star on the fashion scene, often coordinates her looks on red carpet and videos with stepmom Gabrielle Union. The pair have proven their adaptability to complement each other’s looks, whether they’re swapping Prada outfits on TikTok or sitting front-row at Gucci’s Love Parade show. For footwear, Wade often wears block-heeled sandals, pumps and flats from the likes of Burberry, Tory Burch and Gucci. On more casual occasions, she’s also been seen in colorful and embroidered boots from brands including Ganni.
Paris Fashion Week is held from Sept. 25 to Oct. 3, marking the final week of Fashion Month. The occasion will feature a range of fashion shows and presentations from numerous brands across Paris, France, including Dior, Chanel, Schiaparelli, Loewe and more.
