Viola Davis Chooses All Red in Leather Jacket and Dres With Gucci Chain Slingback Kitten Heel for ‘G20’ New York Premiere
Viola Davis is fully into action. The Oscar-winning actress has a new project called “G20.” It stars Davis as the president attending a G20 summit under siege. She stars alongside Antony Starr, Marsai Martin and Anthony Anderson.
For the New York premiere, Davis wore a red dress and a red motorcycle jacket. She was styled by longtime collaborator Elizabeth Stewart. Davis had also worn red to the world premiere in Los Angeles. That look was a strapless red Jason Wu gown.
For shoes in New York, Davis wore Gucci‘s Signora slingback pump. The shoe features a pointed-toe. it also features a low-cut rounded vamp. The vamp exposes a bit of toe cleavage. The single-sole shoe is made of patent leather and has a single-sole. The slingback strap includes a small spandex panel. it also is embellished with a Gucci chain.
The shoe is Gucci’s Rossa Ancora which is a shade of red. Rossa Ancora was a major color for the label under Sabato de Sarno. De Sarno left the brand earlier this year. His last collection was spring 2025.

Davis’s shoe includes a short kitten heel. It measures 1.7 inches. The Gucci Signoria slingback pump is $1,150.
Martin attended the event in a leather dress from Who Decides War. Her shoes are the Christian Louboutin So Kate, a single-sole pump of almost five inches high. She had worn the shoe earlier in the day to film an interview on “Good Morning America.”
