Theo James sat courtside at a Los Angeles Clippers game against the Dallas Mavericks at the Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday.
Dressed casually for the match, the “White Lotus” actor wore a pair of Karhu’s Fusion 2.0 sneakers in the colorway nugget/deep lagoon. Tuesday’s game was round one game two of the NBA playoffs. James most recently starred in “The Gentleman,” which began streaming on Netflix in March.
James’ shoe style over the years has remained similarly casual, or at least simple and classic, the actor often opting for sneakers or loafers. Earlier in the month, he wore a pair of Church’s brown leather sneakers to Deadline’s Contenders Television 2024 to promote “The Gentleman.” In January of 2023, Theo James attended the AFI Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles, Calif., in black leather derbies, matching the rest of his all-black outfit. In 2022, the actor wore a similar pair of glossy black loafers to the New York premiere of his HBO series “The Time Traveler’s Wife.”
The Karhu Fusion 2.0 sneakers worn by James are the shade nugget/deep lagoon, and feature a white mesh body with a blue-speckled wedge and honey-colored toe cap and heel. The unique laces give a snug, adjustable fit without having to be re-tied throughout the day. The sneaker has a rubber sole, making it a good indoor and outdoor sneaker wearable on both the court and the trail.
Karhu — which means bear — is a Finnish sports brand that specializes in lifestyle and running shoes. Finnish runners Ville Ritola and Hannes Kolehmainen have worn Karhu shoes since the brand’s inception in 1916, and Paavo Nurmi won nine Olympic gold medals in Karhu sneakers.
