Storm Reid Puts on Red Alexandre Vauthier Dress With Giuseppe Zanotti Black Patent Leather Slingback Shoes for Oscars 2025 Red Carpet

Storm Reid attended the Oscars ceremony on Sunday. For the event, she was styled by long time collaborator Jason Bolden. Bolden also works with marquee talent like Cynthia Erivo and NIcole Kidman.
Reid wore a Short Alexandre Vauthier dress featuring a bubble skirt and belted waist. The look lived up to the grandeur of the Oscars red carpet via it’s large, over-the-top cape of the same hue, featuring a long train.
On foot, Reid went with a sandal. The actress wore a black Giuseppe Zanotti Lilibeth shoes. The style includes a stiletto heel of about four inches. It also includes an open-toe design. There’s a sling back strap that includes an elasticated section for ease.

Slingback shoes got quite a bit of play in 2024 from celebrities on the red carpets and elsewhere. High fashion brands like Gucci, Saint Laurent and more offered them and celebrities also kept reaching for options from footwear companies like Giuseppe Zanotti, Roger Vivier and Christian Louboutin. This has continued into 2025 at a slower pace but continued all the same.
During the awards circuit melee we’ve notably seen slingbacks on Pamela Anderson. She wore a white pair from Jacquemus to the BAFTA Awards earlier this month. They were matched with an all white look and featured a small bow on the vamp. Monica Barbaro actually wore that exact same shoe in red this week. The heel is called the Cubisto from Jacquemus.
