Shakira was featured in British Vogue‘s November issue which bid farewell to Vogue House.

Photographed alongside Italian designer Riccardo Tisci in Vogue House’s famed elevators, the “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress switched out her go-to heels for a swimmable black mermaid tail in a “Midnight Moon” colorway from Planet Mermaid. Retailing for $114, the aquatic-inspired piece is crafted out of a shimmering black holographic fabric made to mimic the look of fish scales that can be worn in and out of the water. The unique tail is fade-resistant and fits a wide range of sizes.

Accompanying her striking mermaid tail, the performer donned a plain black bra worn underneath an oversized zip-up bomber jacket made of a shiny nylon fabric with gold hardware. Accessorizing her look, Shakira sported shiny black patent leather gloves accompanied by head-turning Dinosaur Designs brass jewels. The Colombian songstress’ dirty blond tresses were parted down the middle and styled in voluminous face-framing waves.
