Shakira Reaches New Heights in Black Aquazzura Platform Sandals to Accept Best Latin Pop Album Award at the 2025 Grammy Awards

Shakira sparkled on the red carpet at the 2025 Grammy Awards held tonight in Los Angeles. The musician is up for “Best Latin Pop Album.”
The “She Wolf” songstress reached new heights in black platform Aquazzura sandals, wearing the La Nuit Sandal Plateau 140. The shoe pick included glossy black patent leather uppers accompanied by rounded open toes. Criss-crossing straps converged on the top of the musician’s feet, caging them in.
Platform soles gave way to sturdy block heels standing at around 4 to 5 inches in height. The footwear choice can be likened to Gianvito Rossi, Steve Madden, Vince Camuto, Paris Texas, Reformation, Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura and Schutz, among others.

Partnered with her sky-high footwear, the “Waka Waka” singer donned a black and bright orange gown hailing from Etro. The designer garment was crafted of sheer black fabric fixed with ornate black sequin detailing. Additionally, the star wore high-shine Pomellato jewelry.
Shakira’s shoe style often varies from athletic to sleek. On the red carpet, the “Te Felicito” artist opts for sandals, rounded and peep-toe pumps with thick platform soles and towering stiletto heels, hailing from top brands including Sergio Rossi, Christian Louboutin and Versace. Her off-duty ensembles feature similarly daring boots, wedges and strappy sandals by Saint Laurent, Prada and Esquivel. Shakira can also be spotted in sneakers by Premiata, Nike and Asics.
The 67th annual Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles hosted by comedian Trevor Noah. The show will air at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.
