On June 26, Selena Gomez graced the stage of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in head-to-toe Versace. Wearing a button-down black dress and patent leather slingback pumps by the Italian brand, the multi-hyphenate brought timeless glamour to Los Angeles.
Gomez opted for a dress from the brand’s fall 2024 collection that Gigi Hadid first wore on the runway during Milan Fashion Week. The upper portion of the fitted garment is sheer, including the long, loose sleeves. The dress includes a pointy white collar and white cuffs, accenting an otherwise black ensemble.
From the sweetheart neckline of the bust and down, the dress is made of a thick fabric featuring folded pockets. Adding some sophistication to the outfit was a line of shiny buttons running from collar to the mid-leg area. They were all gold save for the top piece, which featured pearls and jewels. Gomez also wore dangling earrings and carried a small black leather purse.
The Rare Beauty founder continued to demonstrate her affinity for Versace when it came to her footwear. She wore the Gianni ribbon 85 mm slingback pumps, which are made of calf leather and feature a patent finish. Following the contours of a classic pump, the Italian-made shoes include a sharply pointed toe and a stiletto heel. Affixed to the front of the shoe is the Nastro Gianni bow with gold-hued hardware featuring a Medusa head motif. They retail for $895.
Gomez has turned heads in ribbon-adorned Versace pumps before — she wore a glossy pink pair in New York City in April 2024. Later that month, she wore a pair of peep-toe mules from Black Suede Studios while attending a Time100 event in New York City. While at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, she slipped on a pair of patent leather red pumps by Christian Louboutin.
