Selena Gomez Turns Up the Heat in ‘Hot Chick’ Christian Louboutin Slingbacks at ‘Emilia Perez’ Red Carpet in Los Angeles

Selena Gomez has been working nonstop lately to promote her recent projects. On Tuesday, she attended a red carpet for “Emilia Perez” at the Opening Night of The American French Film Festival at the DGA Theater Complex in Los Angeles.
Gracing the red carpet in style, the “Calm Down” singer sported a pair of Christian Louboutin Hot Chick leather slingback pumps. Retailing for $895 via the brand’s website, the shoe choice featured glossy patent leather uppers in an inky black hue accompanied by sharp pointed toes and v-shaped slingback straps. 4-inch stiletto heels and blood-red bottoms rounded out the set.
The construction of the Hot Chick silhouette is comparable to Christian Louboutin’s ever-popular So Kate style. Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent, Amina Muaddi, Alaia and Aldo all feature similar constructions to Gomez’s Christian Louboutin pick. The choice is commonplace in many celebrities’ wardrobes, thanks in part to its endless versatility. She wore the same pair in red at the “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” premiere earlier this week.

On the outfit front, the “Ice Cream” songstress donned a black midi-length dress with long sleeves and an angular neckline. The piece also included ruched detailing around the waist and a short slit up the front.
When it comes to Gomez’s shoe style, the star often wears staple pairs on and off the red carpet. The singer regularly dons metallic sandals and neutral pointed-toe pumps for events by top brands, including Gianvito Rossi, Prada and Christian Louboutin.
When off-duty, her outfits incorporate white sneakers that are usually from Puma, as well as Ugg slippers. Gomez has also furthered her presence in the fashion industry as a campaign star for Coach and Louis Vuitton, as well as her recent appointment as a brand ambassador for Puma.
“Emilia Pérez” is an upcoming Spanish-language French musical crime comedy film written and directed by Jacques Audiard based on Audiard’s opera libretto of the same name. The film enlists the help of talents like Selena Gomez, Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldana and Édgar Ramírez, among others.
