Sabrina Elba Goes All-Black in Strappy Sandals at the 2024 BAFTA Awards Red Carpet
The shoes featured dainty straps on the front.
Sabrina Elba brought a dainty footwear silhouette to the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards red carpet on Sunday. The wife of actor Idris Elba wore a pair of strappy black heeled sandals for the event, which was held at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
The shoes, which featured a thin ankle strap and three dainty straps on the front, were partially hidden behind the long hemline of Elba’s dress.
As for the rest of Elba’s look, the star wore a black stain gown which featured a low plunge neckline, sharp shoulder seams and a high front center slit from Ashi Studio’s spring 2024 couture collection. Styled with a few pieces of silver jewelry, the dress’ structured and sculptural silhouette was the main focus of Elba’s entire ensemble.

For the 2024 BAFTA Awards, Elba was not the only star to arrive in a pair of open-toe sandals. Actress Emma Stone walked the event’s red carpet in a pair of strappy heels from Louis Vuitton. Her shoes, designed in a striking metallic orange shade, also featured an estimated 3-inch stiletto heel and a thin ankle strap.
Elba has previously attended several events in the same style of sleek minimalistic footwear. To Gucci’s “Bungalow Gucci” party in New York City last September, Elba wore a pair $845 Christian Louboutin pumps which featured black patent leather uppers, pointed toes and curved slingback straps.
