Sabrina Carpenter took her signature platform look to San Fransisco to perform at Outside Lands Festival this weekend, wearing soaring Mary Jane pumps with a black bodysuit on Aug. 10.
Taking the stage on day two of the festival, Carpenter wore a sequined black bodysuit ensuring she would sparkle underneath the stage lights. With a corset-style structure, the one-piece outfit included a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps in addition to swinging fringe at the bottom. Carpenter accented the garment with thigh-high fishnet tights. She wore her hair out in her distinctive blonde waves with her bangs styled to the side.
Carpenter is known to rock platforms while performing and has become an expert at dancing in heels. This time around, she opted for a sky-high pair of black leather pumps with two Mary Jane-style straps. In addition to a significant platform in front, the “Espresso” singer gained elevation from a tall block heel offering her a solid foundation to move around the stage. The shoe was designed with a curved vamp and rounded toe; the Mary Jane straps were thin and close together, almost resembling one thicker strap. The heels ultimately pulled together the monochrome ensemble with a striking silhouette.
Carpenter undoubtedly loves a platform. While opening for Taylor Swift in Brazil in 2023, for example, she took on the Eras Tour stage wearing glittering black platform boots from Naked Wolfe, also featuring a chunky heel and platform; she also wore a white version of the boots at Coachella this year.
