Rachel Zegler was one of many stars in attendance at the opening night for Broadway’s “Good Night, and Good Luck” on Thursday, a show which notably marks George Clooney’s Broadway debut.

Zegler, a Broadway star herself who finished her run of “Romeo and Juliet” in February, dressed up in a patterned fitted dress and a pair of striking black platform heels for the occasion.

The “Snow White” star went with a whimsical aesthetic by way of a white long sleeve dress with a bodycon fit featuring a pattern of blue lipstick marks. It was an off-the-shoulder dress with a straight neckline and a floor-length skirt; ruching along the bodice added some complexity to the garment. She wore her brown hair out for the occasion and showcased a glowy makeup look.

As for her shoes, the “West Side Story” actress selected a pair of ultra-high black pumps. The shoes featured a sizable platform in front and a super steep sole leading to a towering stiletto heel. As a d’Orsay style, the vamp was cut away at the sides and therefore revealed more of the foot than a traditional pump silhouette.

The shoes were enclosed in the back and a slender ankle strap contributed to the look and security of the style. Zegler isn’t the only guest who opted to wear black platforms to the event — Jennifer Lopez went that route as well. She was in attendance alongside her child Emme Muñiz, who appeared to be wearing loafers from Celine.

Zegler has been busy lately promoting her latest film, Disney’s live action adaptation of “Snow White.” The press tour included many striking princess-inspired looks set off by stylish footwear. One memorable look, for example, included a red and cream colored dress and black mesh pumps from Betsey Johnson embellished with a lattice design of rhinestones and pearls.
