Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen Lasichanh fittingly repped Louis Vuitton for the 2025 Met Gala, donning contrasting black and white looks complemented by sleek leather shoes.
Modeling the no pants look, Lasichanh went for a black leather bodysuit, sheer black tights featuring the label’s Monogram print and a black leather blazer which she wore draped over her shoulders.
Williams, who serves as a co-chair of this year’s Met Gala and men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton, wore black bell bottom pants with a double-breasted blazer crafted from small white pearls.
A brown fuzzy purse with the Monogram print accented her look and deviated from her black color scheme, while Williams donned a pair of black sunglasses.
Williams kept his footwear sleek and lowkey with rounded-toe black leather dress shoes featuring a low-profile design. Lasichanh, putting a feminine spin on a classic formal footwear look, went for a heeled penny loafer style featuring a slightly upturned almond toe and a heel of moderate width.
The 2025 Met Gala is unfolding on May 5, the first Monday in May, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City with the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which examines Black dandyism. Celebrity co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky and Lewis Hamilton; LeBron James is an honorary co-chair. This year, the philanthropic event raised $71 million for the Costume Institute, a record-breaking number for the Met Gala.
