Nicky Hilton brought breezy summer style to this year’s Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
Hilton arrived to the event at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey on Saturday afternoon, wearing a lightweight outfit from Hunter Bell. The FNAA-winning star’s outfit featured the New York-brand’s sleeveless buttoned $425 Heath peplum top and $485 Alexis skirt, both covered in a dusky deep red and blue striped print. Hilton opted to accessorize her outfit with a woven Gigi Burris hat and silver watch, allowing her outfit’s patterns to take center stage.
The “Paris in Love” star also complemented her attire with Max Mara’s $1,450 basket handbag — a top-handled tote with a smooth brown leather closure and strap, featuring a structured woven rattan base mimicking a picnic basket. Hilton’s attire was further elevated as well with glowing face makeup by artist Joel Vasquez.
When it came to footwear, Hilton strapped into a pair of Castañer’s signature espadrille wedges to finish her outfit. The French Sole designer’s $140 Carina style featured ivory fabric toes and woven counters, as well as long straps that laced around her ankles for added security and romantic flair. The pair was complete with braided jute soles with connected 2.75-inch heels that formed a thick “wedge”-shaped base, bringing Hilton a subtle and summer-worthy height boost.
The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic celebrated the start of summer with a polo match at Liberty State Park. Sponsored by Veuve Clicquot champagne, the 2023 event featured lawn picnics and Veuve-themed VIP tents. The occasion also drew a range of celebrity guests, including Emma Stone, Nicky Hilton, Gayle King, Lara Eurdolian, Patrick Janelle, Danai Gurira and Simone Ashley.
