Nene Leakes Dishes On New Podcast ‘Me & My Homegirl’ In Black Legging-Inspired Pumps on ‘Tamron Hall Show’

Nene Leakes appeared on an episode of the “Tamron Hall Show” which aired today on ABC.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alumni was accompanied by Sierra Gates, known as Sierra Glamshop, to discuss their new podcast titled “Me & My Homegirl.” The first episode will be available to stream on all major platforms starting Jan. 16.
The “Uncle Drew” actress wore a pair of legging-inspired pumps. Serving as the intersection between loungewear and footwear, the chosen style was crafted of jet-black stretch fabric similar to nylon stretched over sharp stiletto pumps. Said pumps included triangular toes and thin 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels. Leakes’ footwear is quite similar to styles from top brands like Balenciaga, Saint Laurent and Mugler, among others.

The reality star is not the first to flaunt this unique and futuristic footwear moment. Top stars like Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and La La Anthony have all worn the silhouette before. The hybrid footwear can be likened to the ever-popular and ever-polarizing sock bootie trend that took over the fashion and footwear landscapes back in 2017 and 2018.
The sock boot has been spotted on top stars like Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid and Sofia Richie. Revolve, Norma Kamali, The Attico and Wolf & Badger also feature comparable silhouettes to Leakes’ own in a slew of prints, fabrics and sizing options.
Accompanying her ultra-sharp footwear, the television personality opted for a matching black sheer romper. The piece included bloomer-esque bottoms and a collared neckline that transitioned into voluminous bell sleeves. The romper was made of a gauzy slightly sheer material and was decorated with high-shine crystalized detailing that matched Leakes’ equally dazzling jewelry.
Sierra Gates, Leakes’ podcast co-host, is best known for her appearance on MTV’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” a show she has been a part of since season six.
