Naomi Watts Chicly Walks Her Dog in Black Leather Kitten Heels in New York

Naomi Watts was seen in Soho yesterday walking her dog in a chic pair of kitten heels.
The “Mulholland Drive” actress’ shoe pick featured lush and glossy black leather uppers accompanied by sharp pointed toes and lace-up accents that mimicked the closures of a corset. Although they were hard to see beneath the hem of her trousers, Watts’ footwear also included short stiletto heels, hence the kitten-like construction.
The shoe appeared to be backless, making it a slip-on style. Similar silhouettes can be shopped via top brands like Aldo, Dior, Kenneth Cole, Free People, Jimmy Choo, Balenciaga and Stella McCartney, among others. Although this wouldn’t be the typical choice for those ready to walk their dogs, the choice was elevated and chic, creating drama with little to no effort.
The “Adore” star paired her black leather kitten heels with simple closet pieces in neutral hues. These included a cropped tan suede Celine jacket layered overtop a crisp white top. On the bottom, Watts wore a black leather Celine belt with gold hardware worn on baggy jeans.

Rounding out her look, the thespian toted a red leather Celine bag affixed with shiny gold hardware and a short strap. Watts is a big fan of Celine’s more simplistic silhouettes. Whether that be outerwear or denim, the “Infinite Storm” star tends towards neutral tones that play with texture.
When it comes to fashion, Watts is always dressed to impress on and off the red carpet. She has a perpetually chic and classic style. She knows how to merge super-glam designers with laidback attainable separates.
