Michaela Jaé Rodriguez donned a sophisticated look in pointed-toe pumps for the Peabody Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Sunday night.
Posing on the red carpet, the “American Horror Story: Delicate” actress elected to wear a pair of black pointed-toe pumps crafted with a smooth suede upper. The pumps included an angular design on the toe box and a minimalistic look to further complement her outfit. The silhouette was rounded by a slender pump heel that likely measured between 3 to 4 inches in height, given the actress’ love of elevated footwear styles.
As for her outfit choice for the evening, Rodriguez wore a place and white two-piece ensemble that consisted of a dressy cropped tank and a matching floor-length skirt. Styling her hair in a loose middle part that framed her face, the actress channeled a 1990s makeup look with silver eyeshadow and dark lipstick.
Pristine pumps with extra height to them are a regular in Rodriguez’s footwear wardrobe. In early May, she attended The King’s Trust Gala in a pair of “So Kate” blush patent Louboutin red bottoms that featured a triangular toe box, a patent leather crafting and a 4.7-inch stiletto heel as the finisher. The following evening, Rodriguez graced the red carpet at the Apple TV+ “Loot” Official Emmy FYC Event at Hollywood Athletic Club in Los Angeles in a pair of patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps.
Established in 1940, the Peabody Awards are named after American businessman and philanthropist George Peabody and focus on honoring excellence in storytelling that reflects the social issues and the emerging voices of the present day. The awards are an annual event, and winning a Peabody is described as a huge honor.
