Here’s What Shoes We Think Melania Trump Will Wear During Her Husband Donald Trump’s 2025 Presidential Inauguration

First Lady fashions have always proved to be memorable. Each look defines a point in history and often stands as a symbol or acts to send a message while uniquely encapsulating the wearer’s personal style. With Donald Trump’s inauguration only days away, here’s what we think former First Lady Melania Trump might wear during the buzz-worthy occasion.
Melania can often be seen in pointed-toe pumps and flats in hues of black and white, often hailing from her go-to designer, Christian Louboutin. It’s likely she’ll stick to her tried and true Louboutin’s for inauguration festivities, however, she could also pull from Jimmy Choo, Alaïa, Roger Vivier or Dior depending on her chosen look. As for color, she often pulls from more colorful options for big events but focuses primarily on classic hues and silhouettes.
Back in 2017, Melania sported pointed-toe suede pumps. One pair, worn during Donald’s swearing-in ceremony, she wore light blue suede pumps from Manolo Blahnik partnered with a light blue Ralph Lauren dress. The former model’s secondary look on inauguration night featured taupe-colored suede pumps, paired with a Hervé Pierre gown. Pierre currently works as Melania’s stylist. It’s likely the pair will work together for the 2025 inauguration.

No matter what she chooses this go around, Melania seems to have many more options to choose from than she did back in 2017. The Daily Mail reported that Melania, “is being swamped by offers of free designer clothing from nearly every major US fashion house and European couture icons including Versace and Christian Dior in advance of her husband’s inauguration on January 20.”
This is a notable change from her first inauguration. When Donald was sworn in back in 2017, Melania was reportedly shunned by major fashion houses who were weary of being associated with her husband’s controversial politics.
Donald’s inauguration will take place on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, on the West Front of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. It will be the 60th U.S. presidential inauguration and the second inauguration of Trump as U.S. president, marking the commencement of his second and final non-consecutive term as U.S. president.
