Lupita Nyong’o Glitters in Custom Prada Jumpsuit and Pointed Pumps at ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ Premiere in New York City
Lupita Nyong’o hit the red carpet premiere of “A Quiet Place: Day One” in New York City decked out in a shimmery Prada sequin jumpsuit and a glossy pair of pointed-toe pumps Wednesday evening, June 26.
Crafted with a smooth patent leather, the pumps, which were likely also Prada, included an angular design on the toe box and a minimalistic look to further complement her outfit. Splashed in an all-black colorway, the silhouette was rounded by a slender pump heel that likely measured between 3 to 4 inches in height, given the actress’ love of elevated footwear styles.
As for the rest of her ensemble, the “Black Panther” star opted for a black custom sequin jumpsuit from Prada that featured a satin miniskirt overtop. She accessorized her look with a singular shiny ring on each hand and glittery chandelier earrings, which served as a complement to her ’90s style makeup. Nyong’o has been showcasing some noteworthy footwear looks throughout the press tour for “A Quiet Place: Day One.” On Monday afternoon, she was spotted walking around New York City in a pair of Betsey Johnson Presely sneakers, which featured platform soles, white lace-up closures, coordinating stark white uppers, crystalized gold eyelets and bright red rhinestone heart appliques on the heels.
Earlier that day, she was also seen in a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti leopard print pumps, which included a triangular design on the toe box and sturdy crystalized stiletto heels that stood between 2 to 3 inches in height.
For a New York City photocall the day prior, Nyong’o wore a pair of gold metallic heeled sandals that featured a minimalistic design, a medium-width strap across the toes, a buckle around the ankle and a thin heel about 2 to 3 inches tall.
“A Quiet Place: Day One” is the latest in the film series, which highlights New York City under attack from an alien invasion. As a woman and other survivors try to find safety, they soon learn that they must remain absolutely silent as the mysterious creatures are drawn to the slightest sound. The film was directed by Michael Sarnoski, and makes its way to theaters June 27.
