Katie Holmes, dressed in Tory Burch from head to toe, was one of the celebrities in attendance at the opening of the first Printemps department store in New York on Thursday. Located in the Financial District at 1 Wall Street, the colorful and ornately designed store also welcomed Parker Posey, Ivy Getty, Meadow Walker, Francesca Scorsese and Larsen Thompson.
Holmes, who posed alongside Printemps CEO Jean-Marc Bellaiche at the event, showed off a Tory Burch look fresh off the fall 2025 runway — the collection was showcased during New York Fashion Week in February. Showcasing the brand’s “Bambi” design, Holmes’ dress featured a deep brown color with white speckling like the fur of a fawn. The midi dress also included lightly ballooned sleeves and subtle ruching throughout.
To round out her runway look, Holmes wore a pair of shiny brown sandals. The upper showcased a horizontal strap and an X-shaped strap design with a triangular cut out in between. The open-toe shoes also featured a buckled slingback strap and were lifted up a sculpted heel in back. While they were showcased on the runway and by Holmes, Tory Burch doesn’t appear to have made the shoes available for purchase yet.
When it comes to footwear, Holmes switches things up but has certain silhouettes she returns to again and again, like a ballet flat; she often steps out in an iteration of the easygoing dancerly style — an edgy Miu Miu option, for example, has been worn by the actress.
