Jessica Simpson embraced the furry shoe trend to celebrate Easter at home with her family. In a recent roundup of photos shared to her Instagram on Tuesday, Simpson can be seen wearing white fur-covered boots featuring a round, oversized silhouette reminiscent of a Yeti.
The “I Think I’m in Love with You” singer is a fan of trendy high heels and platforms, as well as boho boots, often wearing styles from her eponymous shoe line. At the Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party in Month, she took the metallic trend to new heights in a pair of sky-high strappy silver platform heels. She wore a similar pair of metallic platforms at the 2023 Footwear News Achievement Awards on Nov. 29, where she was honored with the Icon Award.
Bold and fluffy furry shoes were seen across fall 2023 runways, from the vibrantly flocked mules and boots from Shuting Qui to Gucci’s fuzzy moon boots and Burberry’s hairy sandals.
Julia Fox was recently seen wearing wild stilettos covered in long blond hair to promote her new TV series, “OMG Fashun.”
Simpson originally launched her footwear brand back in 2005 as a collaboration with Vince Camuto. However, the singer and her mother, Tina Simpson, recently regained control of the company in 2021 after Sequential Brands Group Inc, the former parent company, filed for bankruptcy protection. In an exclusive interview with FN in October 2021, Simpson said, “It means the absolute world to me to be able to take over complete ownership of my brand.” The brand is known for colorful and trendy designs, often boasting Simpson’s favored sky-high heels.
