Jessica Chastain Chooses Shiny Silver Platform Sandals for 2025 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony
Jessica Chastain dressed up for the star-studded Breakthrough Prize Ceremony held in Santa Monica on Saturday in an embellished white gown and a daring pair of metallic silver platforms.
The actress made a refined sartorial statement at the event with a full-length white gown featuring a crystal embellishment pattern complete with dangling clear teardrop-shaped stones. Bringing the glamour to another level, the dress also featured a silver crystal-embellished trim along the high neckline and below the bust, which also led into the straps. A small cut out was also featured beneath the bust. Chastain’s signature red hair was on display in loose waves and she carried a silver clutch which blended with both her dress and shoes.
Chastain’s shoes were a pair of silver metallic platform sandals. The shoes featured a hefty platform and an ultra-high thick block heel. With a minimalist upper, thin ankle straps helped to secure the style in the back and a wider strap stretched across the toes. Her shoes fell in line with the metallic shoes trend, which is often applied to heel styles like pumps and sandals. Gayle King went that route as well for the event, donning a pair of silver pointed-toe pumps to go with her fringy dress.
