Jennifer Lopez walked on the Grammys stage last night in ensemble mixing the classically elegant with the avant-garde, and a pair of lush crushed velvet platform sandals set off her chic look.
Lopez, who was on hand to present the award for Best Latin Pop Album, was wearing a show-stopping sequined skirt in a champagne hue. The garment stood out with its silhouette, which became quite voluminous at the waist with a highly structured design of folded fabric. Contrasting the complexity of this design, the skirt was accompanied by a simple cropped black turtleneck top. Adding to her elegance, her long sleeve look included gloves.
Matching her striking skirt, Lopez rounded out her outfit with a pair of crushed velvet platform sandals in a cream hue. With a bold silhouette, the peep-toe shoes featured a rounded base in front lifting up the shoe and a towering block heel in the back. A strap covering the toes in front featured mirrored triangular outlines. Additional straps in the back wrapped around the ankle with a rounded buckle included in the design.
Other shoes at the Grammys included Billie Eilish’s Etnies sneakers, Shakira’s Aquazzura sandals and Taylor Swift’s Casadei sandals.
The 67th Grammy Awards, held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 2, was truly an event to remember. Among the many winners of the night, Beyoncé took home Album of the Year and Best Country Album for “Cowboy Carter,” Sabrina Carpenter received Best Pop Vocal Album for “Short ‘n Sweet,” Doechii earned Best Rap Album and Chappell Roan took home Best New Artist. A myriad of engaging performances took place, ranging from the Best New Artist nominees taking the stage to a Quincy Jones tribute featuring several artists.
