Jeannie Mai Jenkins conveyed that plaid is in for spring with the outfit she displayed on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on Friday, pairing her patterned suit with tassel-adorned Sergio Rossi boots.

The TV show host made her way down the show’s popular Spirit Tunnel, dancing along to a remixed version of Christina Aguilera’s 1999 hit song “Genie In A Bottle.” Jenkins displayed a flirty academic look with an oversized vest and blazer set showcasing a gray plaid pattern.

She also wore a striped tie knotted around a classic white collared button down, creating a fully formal business aesthetic. An additional formal touch included a pair of black leather gloves. Aligning with the sharp energy of her outfit, Jenkins displayed a blunt bob hairstyle.

As for her footwear, the television personality appeared to be wearing a pair of black leather boots from Sergio Rossi. With a high-low knee-high shaft silhouette, the shoes featured a pointed toe and stiletto heel. Lace-up detailing with swinging tassels adorned the set in the back, contributing a sense of movement to the boots. The shoes aren’t necessarily a surprising choice for Jenkins, who often steps out in heels, whether they’re pink platform mules from Bettina Vermillion or white pointed-toe pumps.

Jenkins’ boots looked to be a style no longer sold directly by Sergio Rossi, though they can be purchased secondhand. The brand experienced a shake up last year when designer Paul Andrew was named creative director. His first collection with the brand was revealed at an exclusive preview in Milan in February, then during Paris Fashion Week, the brand showcased collaborations with Duran Lantink and Hodakova.
