Heidi Klum has been turning looks on New York City sidewalks. After leaving “Americas Got Talent,” Klum has returned to her post at “Project Runway.” The series is currently filming season 21 in New York City and Klum has been spotted over and over wearing monochromatic looks.
The latest look was all tan. In particular, she wore a tan sheer dress from The Attico. The long-sleeve design featured feather embellishment. In addition, it was midi length. She also carried a brown leather Hermes Birkin bag.
For shoes, she also went with tan: the model wore the Christian Louboutin Loubi Queen Alta sandal. The shoe is a strappy style. It includes a strap across the toe. It also has another slingback-style strap that connects to an ankle strap for security. The shoe is made of smooth Nappa leather.
As it is a part of the Louboutin Alta series, it features a thick platform. This chunky base adds to the height meaning that the stiletto heel can reach six inches. Christian Louboutin sells its Loubi Queen Alta heel for $1,095.
The Loubi Queen has inspiration in 1950s pin-up girls who are known for wearing stiletto platforms. In particular, brands like Pleaser are popular. The sole here is red though, which is a trademark of Louboutin. The company has protected its right to exclusively use contrasting red soles on its heels in court. Louboutin has been using red soles since 1992. The namesake designer was initially inspired by the nail polish of a secretary.
Klum’s return to “Project Runway” brings with it other changes. The “Germany’s Next Top Model” host rejoins the series as host, taking over for Karlie Kloss. The judging panel will feature Christian Siriano, Nina Garcia and Law Roach. The show will also now air on Freeform.
