Halle Berry Pairs Platform Stilettos With Pinstripe Suit for ‘Good Morning America’ Appearance

Halle Berry offered a summery feminine interpretation of a formal business look on Aug. 15, appearing on “Good Morning America” in a pinstripe suit — sans jacket — and black platform stilettos.
Berry was featured on “Good Morning America” to discuss her organization Respin, which focuses on perimenopause and menopausal health.
She looked ready to make power moves in a charcoal colored suit from Alberta Ferretti including wide leg pants and a vest featuring the same pattern of light gray pinstripes. The V-neck top included three fastened buttons and two fold-over pockets adding dimension to the ensemble; her pants flared at the bottom while the vest was fitted in a corset-like manner. The suit retails for $2,295.
With her hair styled in a wavy bob, the actress accessorized the look with a pair of large sunglasses and jewelry from Dana Rebecca Designs.

Berry further embraced the power suit aesthetic with a pair of black platform heels. The shoes lent her extra height with a sizable base beneath the upper and a sky-high narrow heel measuring several inches. The vamp featured a peep-toe effect with fabric covering the side of the foot and crossing over the toes. A dramatic arched sole lifted the silhouette, allowing Berry’s floor-length pants to be protected from the streets of New York City.
The black platform can be reimagined in many silhouettes, from a sharp pump to a sandal to a boot, remaining a go-to footwear option in the closets of celebrities like Joey King and Sabrina Carpenter.
In addition to her efforts related to women’s health, Berry has recently been promoting her new Netflix film “The Union,” in which she stars opposite Mark Wahlberg. At the film’s premiere, Berry wore mesh pumps with two buckled straps across the foot, pairing the shoes with a sheer floral dress.
