Gigi Hadid Is a High Heel Hero in Miu Miu Slingback Pumps for ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Premiere

Gigi Hadid channeled Wolverine in a yellow Miu Miu outfit for the world premiere of “Deadpool & Wolverine” in New York on July 22, completing the ensemble with black slingback pumps from the Italian brand.
Alongside her close friend Blake Lively, who is married to “Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds, Hadid dressed on theme for the premiere of Marvel Studios’ latest release. Hadid wore a bandana-style strapless crop top with a knee-length pleated skirt, both in a bright shade of yellow, à la Wolverine’s suit. (Lively, meanwhile, wore a red bodysuit from Christian Louboutin to pay homage to her husband’s character.)
Hadid’s outfit included a thick brown suede belt which complemented a stack of chunky bracelets on either arm. She wore a vintage Chanel Small Coins Necklace from What Goes Around Comes Around and dangling gold earrings as well. The supermodel also carried a small yellow purse featuring a Deadpool keychain, another on-theme outfit detail.
A layer of black fabric peeked out above Hadid’s skirt, matching her black leather heels from Miu Miu. She wore the brand’s patent leather slingbacks with buckles, which deviate from the classic pump design by adding three thin buckled straps that stretch across the foot at different angles. The shoes feature a kitten heel measuring 2.25 inches. Also available in two shades of red, the heels are available for $1,290 from Bergdorf Goodman. At the same price point, Miu Miu’s site lists the shoes in hues called sand beige, ivory and crimson.

Hadid continued her gold jewelry streak by adding a glittering anklet to her right foot, which contributed a touch of glamour to her footwear. She previously wore the same shoes in 2023 for a Miu Miu party held during Paris Fashion Week, pairing them with a sequined black minidress and leather jacket. Demonstrating that black goes with everything, the shoes have proven to be a versatile footwear option in Hadid’s closet.
Hadid has an ongoing relationship with Miu Miu and is often seen in the brand’s shoes. She previously starred in a 2023 campaign wearing brogues and socks; she wore black leather loafers and white socks when she stopped by the Miu Miu Summer Club Malibu last year.
