Florence Pugh selected a pair of dazzling Aquazzura sandals to complement a mint green McQueen gown for the premiere of “Thunderbolts*” on Monday in Los Angeles.
Pugh, who reprises her role as Yelena Belova in the upcoming Marvel Studios film, selected a flowing strapless gown evoking the new blossoms of the spring season.
She showcased a gown from McQueen’s fall 2025 collection, a seafoam-hued garment crafted from a lightweight sheer material with ruffle-trimmed layers. Booth Moore reviewed McQueen’s fall 2025 for WWD, writing in part, “Fluid silk gowns in fuchsia, inky blue, pale green and lavender had drama without sacrificing wearability, which was clearly a priority for McGirr, who also brought in more casual and contemporary pieces, like a glossy shrunken leather bomber with punk buckle details, and a tailcoat parka with dense crystal shard embroidery at the neck.”
A pair of sparkling sandals from Aquazzura complemented Pugh’s pastel gown. She donned the Ari style, which features a V-shaped strap design meeting a horizontal strap at the toes, all of which are embellished with rows of shining crystals. The crystal embellishment is applied to the back straps as well, while a skinny silver metallic strap wraps several times around the ankle. The silhouette also features a rounded toe and a tall stiletto heel.
Modeling a black monochrome color palette at the London premiere for “Thunderbolts*” last week, Pugh donned a pair of sandals from Rene Caovilla. Not confined to any particular footwear silhouette, she showcased a pair of white boots from Paris Texas when she at CinemaCon earlier this month.
