Julia Fox appeared on an episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show” which will air on Oct. 18 on CBS. Fox sat down with host Drew Barrymore, who took style inspiration from her beloved guest, to speak about her new book “Down the Drain.”
Taking a daring approach while paying homage to Fox’s most iconic looks, the talk show host stepped out in a pair of lofty black Kiki platform boots from Marc Jacobs. The sky-high style was composed of glossy black patent leather and featured thin straps fixed with shiny silver buckle closures that crossed over her calves and up her legs, stopping just below Barrymore’s knees.
The boots, which were worn with green and purple plaid stockings, also included thick platform soles, side zip-up closures and 7-inch block heels that gave the thespian a towering appearance. Fox has worn Marc Jacobs‘ famed Kiki boots on multiple occasions in a multitude of iterations. Accompanying her platform boots, Barrymore wore a two-toned red and yellow Chopova Lowena skirt featuring silver hardware and leather detailing worn with a grungy denim top.
Following the reveal of her Fox-inspired look, Barrymore changed into a pair of nude suede platform sandals worn with a matching suit.
For her talk show appearance, the “Uncut Gems” star wore a pair of deep chocolate brown knee-high boots crafted of plush patent leather. The footwear included pointed toes, zipper closures up the sides and 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels that tapered out from thin to thick at the base. Fox sported a gray wool suit-inspired set featuring an oversized blazer and what appeared to be shorts.
Fox has worn a variety of sleek dresses and catsuits for past red carpet appearances hailing from Alexander Wang, Dior and Jean Paul Gaultier. The “PVT Chat” actress‘ formal footwear game includes big names like Christian Louboutin, Giuseppe Zanotti and Manolo Blahnik.
