Demi Lovato Showcases Demure Black Pumps and Edgy Leather Jacket Dress at Caron Treatment Centers’ New York Gala
Demi Lovato sang for a cause on Monday at the Caron Treatment Centers’ New York Gala, and her ensemble for the occasion included a pair of sharp black pumps from Femme LA.
Lovato was on hand to support Caron Treatment Centers, which is a non-profit organization focused on addiction treatment and behavioral healthcare.
The multi-hyphenate artist, who uses she/they pronouns, dressed up in a fitted leather jacket minidress for the philanthropic event, which took place at Cipriani 42nd Street.
The edgy double-breasted garment featured a wide lapel and prominent shoulders. The “Cool for the Summer” artist paired the well-tailored piece with sheer tights and pointed-toe black pumps, while a bold red lip offered their ensemble a splash of color.

Lovato went with a spin on a classic footwear choice, showcasing a black heel — Femme LA’s Avi Pump — with a vamp that covered slightly more surface area of the foot than the traditional silhouette. The vamp also narrowed into a triangular shape which aligned with the shoe’s pointed toe. A stiletto heel boosted the look, but didn’t draw too much attention to itself given its modest stature. In line with this subtly, the pumps appeared to be crafted with a soft black suede material. A similar high-cut vamp aesthetic can be found from a range of brands including Steve Madden, Tony Bianco, Khaite and Paris Texas, to name a few.
Lovato’s footwear picks vary depending on the occasion. Whens taking the stage at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, they displayed an edgy pair of black ankle boots from Mint Velvet featuring a wraparound belt adornment with metallic accents.
