Camila Cabello Dons Vintage Dolce & Gabbana Dress With Saint Laurent Mesh Pumps for Mercedes-Benz CLA World Premiere in Rome
Camila Cabello brought her smart fashion sense to Rome for the Mercedes-Benz CLA World Premiere, which took place at Villa Miani on Thursday.
For the event, the singer modeled a gray collared minidress with a chest cutout and a column of metal fastening clips against a black strip of fabric at the center — the piece looked to be a shorter version of a vintage Dolce & Gabbana design.
A slender ribbon of fabric was tied into a bow at the collar and dangled past the square neckline of the sleeveless dress. Also contributing to the chic nature of her ensemble was a pair of sheer black tights. Cabello wore her dark hair out for the occasion with her bangs on display.
The “Shameless” singer went for a pair of Saint Laurent’s semi-sheer Anja mesh pointed toe pumps in black to elevate her look. She wore a classic pointed-toe style with a rounded, low-cut vamp.

A tall and slender heel boosted the set, showcasing a straight silhouette as opposed to a tapered look. Much of the upper appeared to be a mesh material while the back of the shoe looked like leather.
The mesh shoe trend remains a relevant one — Laverne Cox recently wore a pair of pumps with a fishnet design on the “Sherri” talk show and Halle Berry showcased a Mary Jane style with two straps and a cap toe at the premiere of “The Union” in August.
Cabello has been showing off elegant fashions as of late. Prior to her trip to Rome, she was one of the celebrities at Paris Fashion Week. She attended the Chanel fall 2025 show on Tuesday wearing a tweed suit with a pair of black platform pumps with a block heel and cap toe design.
Her award season looks were also big hits. She attended the Vanity Fair Oscars After Party in an elegant Alexis Mabille Fall 2024 couture dress and Aquazzura’s Forever More sandal. For the Elton John Foundation Oscars viewing party, she wore a stunning hot pink Miss Sohee Spring 2023 couture gown with Aquazzura’s popular Tequila Sandal in black.
