Brooke Shields went golden for the 2024 Drama Desk Awards in New York on Monday. The model wore a pair of strappy gold sandals for the event.
Shields’ shoes were gold and made of snake skin. They featured two crisscross straps across the toe. They also featured a D’orsay-style slingback, meaning that instead of starting from the front of the shoe, the strap started from the middle, around the arch of the foot. The toe bed is almond-shaped.
The shoes were paired with a pink and gold cocktail dress featuring embroidery and spaghetti straps. This was paired with a dainty floral charm necklace, gold hoop earrings and a large gold statement ring. She also wore oversized aviator shades.
Others who attended the event included Sarah Hyland and Sarah Paulson.
Shields is typically known to go for elegant shoes that are also comfortable when it comes to high-profile events. In April, the actress donned a pair of sparkly silver metallic wedge sandals to the Kit Kat Club at the August Wilson Theatre in New York City. The shoes featured an open-toe design and a chunky toe strap adorned with silver crystals and metallic wedge heels as the finisher. Also in April, the former model participated in the balletcore trend by showcasing bright pink ballet flats during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”
Just last month, in May, she was seen wearing a pair of red pointed-toe pumps for a “Mother of the Bride” premiere.
