Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds are in Wales this weekend, attending a soccer game for the Wrexham AFC, which Reynolds co-owns. The pair were notably not in attendance at the 30th birthday party for friend Gigi Hadid in New York City.
For her look, Lively went fairly casual. She wore layered with a series of button down shirts over a tanktop. She also wore distressed, faded jeans. For a bag, she carried a small Chanel crossbody.
For shoes, Lively wore a pair of Valentino Garavani Soul Rockstud lace-up boots. The boots are composed of a burgundy leather upper. It is an ankle boot. The style is a lace-up design and includes goldtone hooks at the top for the laces. There is also a pull-tab on the back for ease of use. There’s also a round toe.
The defining detail is the studs which come form the titular Rockstud collection. The studs sit atop the thick rubber platform which measures about .75 inches. There’s also a stacked heel of about 3.75 inches. The Valentino Rockstud lace-up booties were originally available for $1,745
Lively has been wearing the boots for years. Last year, she was wearing them on a double date with friend Taylor Swift. At the time, she wore the boots with a burgundy sheer dress. (Swift also owns the boot and had previously worn them.) In 2020, Lively wore them while doing press on “Good Morning America” in a reference to “Gossip Girl’s Blair Waldorf.
The Rockstud collection is a popular Valentino series. The Rockstud line was launched in 2010. First offered as a T-strap sandal, the designs marked the launch of the company’s first footwear line. Since then it’s decorated a number of accessories including various footwear silhouettes.
