Ayesha Curry donned a pair of cowboy boots to complement her custom GapStudio look at SFMOMA’s Art Bash on Wednesday in San Fransisco. The event supported SFMOMA’s education and family programs in addition to community engagement events.
With designs by Zac Posen and styling by Jason Bolden, Curry showcased a shiny golden look for the party. She modeled a shimmering off-the-shoulder knit dress as well as a golden coated denim corset belt. GapStudio, a new Gap segment that, according to the brand, “represents the highest expression of the iconic American brand,” launched its Collection 01 designed by Posen on April 3 and has another drop slated for the summer.
Curry connected with Posen, who was appointed to Board of Trustees at SFMOMA earlier in the year, at the event. “Ayesha is such an important part of the Bay Area — strong, grounded, and deeply connected to the community,” said Posen, executive vice president and creative director of Gap Inc. “For a night like SFMOMA’s Art Bash, we wanted something sculptural and modern that captured that spirit, with glistening Golden State energy. In my new role on the SFMOMA Board of Trustees, this moment is a meaningful way for us to celebrate the creative culture that defines San Francisco.”
Accenting the “Golden State energy” of Curry’s outfit was a pair of cowboy boots, what appeared to be a style from Steve Madden. The multi-colored, multi-textured shoes featured glossy brown leather as well as dark blue denim fabric with the classic swirling embroidery of the western footwear style. A skinny stiletto heel measuring several inches elevates the pointed-toe boots.
Just the day prior, Curry volunteered with Baby2Baby alongside Sofia Richie Grainge and Victoria Monét; Curry wore cowboy boots at that event as well.
