Anya Taylor-Joy Steps Out in Christian Louboutin Pumps and Audacious Alexander McQueen Fur Coat

Anya Taylor-Joy was out and about in New York City on Feb. 3 in an ensemble that drew attention with just two visible items: a massive Alexander McQueen fur coat and a sharp pair of Christian Louboutin pumps.

Taylor-Joy turned heads in a dramatic beige shearling coat with massive puffy shoulders, a garment seen on the runway as part of Alexander McQueen’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection helmed by Seán McGirr. The coat also featured voluminous furry arms, and when the actress held her arms at her waist, the coat appeared to have three distinctive tiers graduating in size from bottom to top. The hem of the coat hit around the top of Taylor-Joy’s thighs, making for a leg-baring moment contrasting the winter-readiness of the Alexander McQueen creation. With essentially no other clothing visible, Taylor-Joy’s shoes stood out all the more.

The star’s coat matched a pair of beige heels hailing from Christian Louboutin. She appeared to be wearing the French label’s Iriza style, which features a demi-d’Orsay silhouette. True to its name, just one side of the shoe showcases a cutout along the upper, thus unveiling more of the foot. The other side, however, follows a typical pump construction with a thin stretch of fabric leading toward the back of the shoe. Additionally, the shoe features classic pump elements like a pointed toe and a stiletto heel.

Taylor-Joy is known to make striking footwear statements. She recently wore pair of dainty minimalist black heeled sandals at Christian Dior’s spring 2025 show in Paris in January, and earlier in the month donned heeled satin sandals from Jimmy Choo for the Golden Globes. At the 2025 Dior Cruise show in June 2024, she made a fashion statement in a pair of glossy black boots with several buckles and a lighter-hued heel.

While the actress stepped out in the Alexander McQueen coat and Louboutin pumps just yesterday, she’s already shown off several mores stylish outfits since then. She is currently promoting the film “The Gorge,” in which she stars alongside Miles Teller.
